images yield multiple readings. Birds, for example, are
driven by instinct yet possess freedom of flight. Dolls with mechanical movements
might
inspire nostalgia for childhood but might also allude to the loss of free will.
Similarly, family photos of her mother and grandmother may evoke an idyllic past,
while simultaneously exploring how social expectations of women have evolved.
Pre-printed fabrics develop the composition and also provide a conceptual connection
